Div Layout Tutorial

Step 2

If you have a menu in your picture, then you need this next step. If not, please skip to step 4. We're going to make this into an image map. There is a free online tool that you need to go to, I suggest bookmarking this site. Please go to this link: http://www.isdntek.com/tagbot/imap.htm
Now, paste your image url in the field where it says Image URL

Click Load Image.
Your image will now pop up below.

Click "New Link". A small transparent box will appear in the left-hand corner of your image. It's draggable, so we want to drag it to where you want your first menu button to be clickable. Basically we're needing to define the buttons.

So, drag it to your first button. It's obviously not the size of your desired button. So we can resize it, move your mouse to the right-hand corner of the transparent box. Your cursor should change, notifying you that you can resize this.

Now, resize the box to your desired size.

Once you have gotten your box the right size/position, input in the Link from the url you want the box to link to (Ex: I want my box to be my "message me" link, This is where you can use the IMVU Links Generator)

Now, in the caption - put a word that represents what link it is (ex: "Message Me" would be something to put if it was your message link, basically this will show a pop up box with the words when the mouse is hovered over this part of the picture).

Now click "New Link", and another box appears. You're ready to add another link.
Repeat this step until you have all the desired links. Here's a snapshot of what mine looks like:
